Google is increasingly focusing on client-side programming for web and mobile devices with version 2.0 of its web-based programming language Dart.
The new edition, the programming language used as an open-source project, is accompanied by a rigorous clean-up of the syntax, the announcement said. In addition, the type system has been streamlined and the developer toolchain has been completely redesigned. Dart is therefore predestined for web applications in the browser and those for I-OS and Android.
In the announcement, the Google Product Manager executive gives some examples of Dart’s new features.
