Two days after the announcement of the final release of the Parsix GNU/Linux 8.0r0 (Mumble) operating system, the Parsix developers have published an important announcement for users of Parsix GNU/Linux 7.5 (Rinaldo).
Therefore, we are reporting today, September 16, that the Parsix GNU/Linux 7.5 “Rinaldo” operating system will reach end of life (EOL) on November 14, 2015, and its official software repositories will be closed a week later, on November 21, 2015.
What this means is that the Parsix GNU/Linux 7.5 distro will no longer receive software updates, security patches, and bug fixes starting with November 14, 2015. As such, all users are urged to upgrade to the latest stable release of the OS until that date.
