Matthew, thanks for the heads up. I went in some time after you and it was working and continues; depending on your timezone, you may have caught podpress doing its nightly rebuild of the feed. RC

Hi guys. I enjoyed your Android special.

I'm still using the now antique g1(dream), but thanks to CyanogenMod I have a nice up to date OS (The official version for g1 is the very old 1.6.!)

The AppBrain (http://www.appbrain.com/) application might be the answer to some of your application market woes. It allows you to select your applications via a web browser then synchronise with your phone through the AppBrain Android application.

Keep up the good work.

At about 30 minutes in, you're discussing Chrome to phone, and lamented that there was nothing to send stuff back to the PC - check out http://www.appbrain.com/app/send-to-computer/com.ivanvolosyuk.sharetobrowser which is an application to do exactly that!

You commented about using the native Twitter application, can I suggest that Mustard is a good companion for those people using Identi.ca and the other StatusNet based sites. It will also now support Twitter as well, and provide a merged timeline of both sites.

Also, you mentioned Last.FM Scrobbling - I use A Simple Last.FM Scrobbler, as it will scrobble to Libre.FM as well as Last.FM, which is quite useful for me.

I have moments of being a bit of a privacy nut, so I've got Orbot (a TOR client for Android) and APG (a GPG/PGP application) which interfaces with K-9 Mail to provide encrypted e-mail.

Although I'm not very good at using a to-do list, I've found Astrid, synchronized with Google Tasks, to be very useful.

Recently I've installed two games which are both rather addictive, Air Control Lite and Coast Defence. The first is where you have to land aircraft of three different types - Red (Heavy/fast), Blue (Light) and Green (Helicopters) on their respective runways/pads. As you progress through the numbers of aircraft landed, it reduces the delay between each new craft entering the screen. Very addictive :) The second is a tower game, that is where enemies progress across a terrain and you have to build towers to shoot them, in this case, they're on water, and you're sinking them as they navigate their way around a riverbed.

Because I like to code, I have ConnectBot to SSH to my home server, and when I need to use the GUI, I've installed AndroidVNC, which I'll use in conjunction with a port forward using ConnectBot.

Occasionally, I will use my phone as a WiFi hotspot (requires root) and for that, I use Barnacle Wifi Tether.

All the best, and thanks for a great sidepod.
